Jennifer Zamaites, Corporate Secretary
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Jennifer's upbringing in a haunted house has spurned on a lifelong interest in the paranormal. In 1992, Jennifer received her Associates Degree is Public Relations at Bay Path College in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
After moving to Fort Wayne, she went on to work in her chosen field but eventually felt drawn to teaching. Currently, Jennifer is an honor student at Indiana University/Purdue University Fort Wayne where she is attempting to attain her Bachelors Degree in Education. While pursuing her dream of teaching, she also shares her time working full time as a receptionist/membership assistant for the Mizpah Shriners who are affiliated with Shriners Hospitals for Children.
In 2002, the local chapter of the Indiana Ghost Trackers started up and Jennifer jumped right aboard. She began as the Fort Wayne Chapter Secretary and a team leader, after that the Fort Wayne Chapter Director and now currently holds the position of Northeast Regional Director.
Aside from her passionate pursuit of learning all things metaphysical, philosophical, spiritual and paranormal she also adores animals of all kinds and most of all laughter. What she is most fond of in regards to her experience with Indiana Ghost Trackers, aside from the tremendous amount of knowledge and experience she has gained, is the friendships she has made during her membership. As Jennifer puts it, IGT is the complete package. |
Regional Directors
Heather Stenger, North Central Regional Director
Heather grew up in the small town of Elwood, Indiana, and currently resides in Lafayette. She has been happily married to Brandon since 1996 and has two daughters, Lucy and Jane, who are her pride and joy. She has worked for Huntington Mortgage Group since June 2002.
Heather’s interest in the paranormal started at a young age. She always knew that there was “something else” there. There were numerous personal experiences that only heightened her interest as she got older. She is grateful to have found IGT. IGT has given her the knowledge and direction to further her studies of the paranormal. She has learned so much since joining in October 2005.
After joining, Heather jumped in with both feet. She became Secretary of the Lafayette Chapter in December of that same year, and she quickly received training and became a Team Leader. Together with Cindy Sauralt, they created the Meet-N-Greet’s that allow the general public to come out and learn about IGT in a more relaxed atmosphere than at a regular meeting. In October 2006, she became the North Central Regional Director, and couldn’t be more thrilled. She is excited about being able to contribute more to IGT and help her chapters grow and learn.
In addition to researching the paranormal, Heather enjoys reading, cross-stitching, bowling, and graving (or transcribing/documenting) cemeteries.

Dawn Bowers, Northeast Regional Director
I was born in Angola Indiana and have lived in Northeast Indiana for the majority of my life. I have worked at Dow Corning for the last 10 years. Great news!! I only have to work 23 more years till I can retire!!
I joined the Indiana Ghost Trackers in 2004. My best friend Shayne asked me to go to a Ghost Tracker meeting with her. I gave her a great deal of crap about wanting to go hunt ghosts. I finally gave in and went with her. I was hooked after my first meeting and hunt. The best part of the whole experience was the members at that meeting. They were great. They made us feel welcome and answered all our questions. Still today, my favorite part about the Indiana Ghost Trackers is the friendships that I have made.
Outside of ghost hunting, I love to spend time with my family. We love to go camping, fishing, swimming, and on vacations together. One of my biggest passions is photography. I could take pictures all-day. I like to take pictures for my family and friends. If only I could make a living doing it!!
Hope to see some new faces at the next meeting. |

Cindy Sarault, Director, Lafayette Chapter, IGT
Cindy grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana, and currently resides in West Lafayette. She has been married to Eric, who she met while ghost hunting with IGT, since 2003 and has an adorable 2 year old son named Michael. Cindy also has a step son who is 14, named Steven. She has worked for MED Institute, Inc. as an Administrative Assistant since August 2006.
Cindy’s interest in the paranormal didn’t start until her adulthood. It was the summer of 2002 that she and her friend, Michelle, were researching a campground they planned on camping at that summer when they stumbled upon some information about a haunting at the campground. After following many links on the internet, they landed on IGT’s site. Cindy just celebrated her 5 year anniversary of being a ghost hunter. Since joining IGT, she has had many paranormal experiences, many of them while traveling with Mike McDowell and others around the state of Indiana.
After joining, Cindy worked alongside with Mike McDowell getting some new chapters on their feet. Some of those chapters are; Fort Wayne, Evansville and Bloomington. Cindy held the position of Secretary and Investigations Coordinator while a member of the Northwest Chapter in 2002 and 2003. In 2004 Cindy moved to Lafayette with Eric to be closer to Steven who lives with his mother near Lafayette. As a part of the Lafayette Chapter, Cindy took on the responsibility of being Team Leader. Later, she was elected as Treasurer and in December 2006 she was elected as Director for the 2007 year. Together with Heather Stenger, they created the Meet-N-Greet’s that allow the general public to come out and learn about IGT in a more relaxed atmosphere than at a regular meeting.
In addition to researching the paranormal, Cindy enjoys reading, cross-stitching, camping, and cemetery hopping.

Pat Shuck, Director of Kokomo chapter, Indiana Ghost Trackers.
Pat used to work for a monument company and has been in a vast majority of cemeteries in his chapter's area. He saw some strange things and had some strange feelings in a few of them so he decided to call some friends and go out after dark to try to find something. That night, he decided this was fun and he wanted to do this more often. Pat decided to try to start a local group to search for the unknown, then he found the Indiana Ghost Trackers. After a few emails and a couple of phone conversations in 2003, he joined and has been happier ever since.
Through the good times and a lot of bad times, Pat has stuck it out with the Kokomo chapter. He decided, after seeing how not to run a chapter, to go forward from secretary to director in 2005.
Pat was born in Tipton and still can't find the directions on how to get out. He was married and graduated high school in 1991. He has three children; two boys ages 10 and 4, one girl age 6, and is trying to adopt another girl who is also 6 (only nine days different in age).
He joined the Army Reserve Military Police in 1989 and finished his time
early in 1995. He has been a career fire fighter since 1994. Only working three out of every nine days, he has time for a lot of hobbies. Those include; ghost tracking, biking, playing almost any sports, photography, and most importantly spending time with his kids.
Pat has this to say about IGT: The people and experiences are worth every minute spent. You can only get out what you put in. Its easy to set in the corner and just watch but, its fun to get involved and make things happen. My actual story is much better, I just can't write. See you at the next meeting! |
