Ryan Burgess: Northwest Division 2, Paranormal Investigator

I have been a paranormal investigator for five years now.  I joined IGT in November of 2004.  I have enjoyed working with the group.  In everyday life, I have had several different jobs, ranging from Millwork to waiter, including emergency management and daycare.  I currently attend IUN obtaining my degree in psychology.  My goal is to attend medical school some day.  My religion is Catholic.

I joined IGT to learn more about the paranormal.  I enjoy IGT; I feel we have a lot of people interested in the same thing.  I enjoy helping people and answering questions about ghosts.

As a “sensitive” I have learned to protect myself by being in new places and dealing with different situations.

As well as ghost hunting, I ride horses, work with the Emergency management at the Porter County Home, sit on the computer, and go and see all of my kids at the daycare. (Not actually mine but from when I worked there).  Other than that I do the normal 20-year-old things.

My family doesn't have much to say about my ghost hunting.  They know I will do it anyway.  Some of my family is interested and have joined or will be joining.  It’s the same with my friends.

Greg Doane: Member Bloomington Chapter, IGT

I have been a member of IGT since February of 2005.  I have enjoyed everything we have done so far. I have had an interest in the paranormal most of my life, whether it is ghosts. UFO's or even Bigfoot. I am most likely what you would call a skeptic with a great urge to prove once ad for all that these things are real. Like I always say, "The more we can disprove the closer we can get to the truth."

I am a musician and play several instruments.  I like many forms of music but tend to listen to and play Metal (the harder the better).  I have been in several bands and have traveled a lot playing music.

My other hobby in the spring is storm chasing.

Deb Torres: Fort Wayne Chapter, Asst. P.R. Director, Team Leader

Good-Day.. My name is Deb Torres. I have been a part of the Fort Wayne IGT sense summer of 2003. I'm currently Asst. P.R. Director, Team Leader. I Really love our group of people. They have become dear friends to me. I first became interested in paranormal at a young age. This group has helped me SO much. I used to be so scared of the things I was seeing... I thought I was a Big weirdo. This group opened my eyes to explanations to my visions, and comfort that I wasn't alone. I'm Grateful to be a part of this Wonderful group of people.  Thanks to all Chapters for your dedication and hard work. It is changing peoples life's. For the Better! Always Smiling, Deb Torres, Fort Wayne Chapter

Kristyn Bone: Muncie Chapter, Indiana Ghost Trackers.

Kristyn is a single mother, who works in the small community of Portland Indiana, where she is delighted to live.

Kristyn has this to say about her enjoyment of the paranormal: “I have always enjoyed the quiet country life. I loved staying at my grandma and grandpa's farm over the summers. That's where my love for the paranormal began. We grew up with more than the average creeks and cracks in their home. It had a past including a total of five deaths Let's just say that it was a full house.

“When I'm not working, I am usually planning IGT projects or thinking of places to travel around Indiana.”

Sarah Rogers

Sarah has been the secretary for the Lafayette Chapter of IGT since she joined in 2001. She assisted in editing the current edition of the IGT Members Handbook, and is working on the next edition, as well as editing the Officers Handbook.

Sarah owns a small publishing company and works as an independent publications consultant. In addition, Sarah is working on her bachelor degree in accounting and on her certification for public accounting. She has worked with numerous not-for-profit educational organizations in organizational procedures, financial management, and publications.

Sarah lives in rural Tippecanoe County on a very haunted non-working farm with her husband of 13 years and three daughters.

Sarah has this to say about IGT: “I have the dubious ‘gift’ of sensitivity, meaning that I see, hear, and interact with ghosts. While this has not been traumatic, it is gratifying to find tangible evidence that there is something there where I am seeing and hearing things. I also have a great love of science, and am delighted to be involved with a research organization involved in something so near to me. Today’s paranormal research organizations are a boon to future science. I hope to be here when we can definitively prove the existence of the paranormal.  IGT members are the Newtons and Galileos of our time.”
