Webmaster Note: We would like to acknowledge a member who came up with the great Idea for this page.  Thanks Mellen great idea.  She had this to say: "I was thinking how nice it would be to have a special folder under the IGT's Pictures area designated to house only N'arlins (& surrounding areas) pictures taken by IGTians... scenic pictures as well as paranormal ones.  I know that I have several pictures I'd like to post, like some of Jackson Square, O'Brien's, Oak Alley, us ghosthunting and the streets of the FQ for starters!"

While on vacation in 2003 my daughter and I stayed in the Garden District.  We had the pleasure of seeing and hearing the famous street cars on St. Charles. Submitted by: Misty W

The 1891 Castle Inn is located in the Garden District of New Orleans.  The huge inn has reportedly had paranormal activity.  I hadn't joined IGT yet, but the inn being haunted was my whole reason for staying.  Unfortunately, we didn't experience anything. Submitted by: Misty W

While strolling through the French Quarter in September, we came upon this wonderful puppeteer.  He has a small  speaker behind him and is playing music.  The puppet has a guitar that he is "playing".  This is exactly the type of entertainment I expected to see in the F.Q. Submitted by: Misty W

One of the many tours offered in New Orleans was of St. Louis #1.  I fell in love with this cemetery as soon as I entered.  The Plessy from the court case Plessy vs. Ferguson and the family of a famous Voodoo Queen (Marie Laveaux - sp??) are buried here. Submitted by: Misty W

A lone sax player entertaining passers-by near the Mississippi River.  Would you expect anything else in this wonderful town? Submitted by: Misty W
