Irvington Private Investigation
September 2005, private home investigation in Irvington, IN: This clip was taken in the bedroom at 11:40pm after an EVP session. It was recorded with a Sony DV camera, which was focussed on the Trifield Natural EMF meter during the whole recording. “Can’t you feel me?” can be heard towards the end of this clip after several of us leave the room, leaving only two behind. Immediately afterward, one of those remaining remarks, “It just happened as they walked out of the room.” Winner, “Best EVP 2005, Indianapolis” at IGT Banquet.

Hannah House Tour
I am a member of the Indianapolis Chapter of the Indiana Ghost Trackers and around early October of 2004, I was at Hannah House in Indianapolis, Indiana doing a tour. At one point during the night, we were in the basement, I was listening to two people talking about EVP they got in the basement six months before I was there and I was standing approximately where they were when they got their EVP, which was just a few feet in front of the fruit jars.
When I played back my recordings from that night, I discovered that I got the same EVP in approximately the same area. The voice is saying, “Find Me”, it’s very low, quiet, and whispery, but if you listen carefully you should be able to hear it, you need to be listening for it to hear it though.

Elmwood Cemetery
This EVP was in Elmwood Cemetery in KY. I was drawn to 4 Angel statues. A mother and her 3 children. The mother’s name was Lizzy. There were 3 of us recording and only my recorder picked this up.
Question is “Are you Lizzy?”
You then hear the whistle that only my recorder picked up..
I have been trying to figure out the tune for over a year now so if you know it PLEASE let me know!!

I ask,” Can you show me a sign of your presence?” At the very end I amplified it, and you can hear a man’s whisper say “I’m Not!”(RIGHT AFTER GAUSSMETER CLICK)
This EVP was captured below the human hearing range on the hertz levels.
The homeowner and I were walking on the catwalk above the front room where the apparition of a little girl in a blue dress is seen from time to time. I asked the homeowner if I could go into his daughter’s room to conduct EVP session, and he said,” yeah she sleeps like a rock.” There are two voices that come through, one says “yes” and the other says “GET OUT! ” It sounds like there is two different voices both in whispers……

Go Away
My daughter, Caitlin, recorded this in a haunted corn field north of Indianapolis. Keri Young and I were discussing a cold spot, but I couldn’t feel it. She says to me, “Sometimes you have to go away” and right before she says that, a voice says very distinctly “Go Away.” This is the clearest EVP I have ever heard and was played repeatedly when Fox 59 news did a story on our chapter. Ghostly Adventures
Here are some evp’s that we have recorded recently. The girl saying “hi” three times (not very clear on goldwave), “don’t disturb us”, and “go away” were all recorded in a graveyard.
At another place we were taking pictures and were scared of a picture that we took which turned out to be a bush. Seems as though “someone” thought this was funny and laughed at us. After that we thought it was time to leave and the voice seemed to say “there you go.”

Almshouse
These are 2 different EVP’s taken from my video camera at an Almshouse (poor farm) on 2 separate occasions.
The first is a little girl “Mommy” which is very clear.
The second is bit more bizarre. I thought I had turned the video camera off because it was running out of tape. I went down to the first floor by myself for maybe a few minutes and heard this at the end of the tape. The last few minutes of the tape are black As I had the lens cap on. There is speaking, some type of flapping noise?, footsteps, tapping and what I believe may be residual gunshot. You be the judge….. Let me know what you think.

Old Valpo Jail Museum
This one is from the Old Valpo Jail Museum. Myself and Ron Creveston were at the entrance to the catacombs doing EVP and Ron asked “Can you tell us how you died?”. The spirit replied “Vietnam”. This was from a 2002 hunt there and it got EVP of the year at the Awards that year.

Oak Ridge Cemetery
Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lansing, Illinois on 12-04-04. I was picking up alot of activity on an EMF reader and got out my recorder. I ask “Is anyone here?” than what sounds like a woman’s voice to me is heard. People have heard two different things. Some people hear it repeat me, but the majority hear “Can anyone see you,” and than some laughing. Also a few people have heard after the laughing, “I’ll Kill You.” It is better heard when opened with an editing program rather than a program such as winamp. This was captured at a woman’s grave where the EMF reader was going crazy.

Porter County Home
Porter County home January 2005. The first one is right after James says “Does anyone else hear music.”
James is trying to figure out what the humming noise is, then you hear all kinds of background noise that is not there, then at the end when he says its like a small pin hole you hear “GO AWAY” and cant make it out if its help or now.

Toothache, was recorded in my home. I was in my daughter’s room trying to figure out what it is… or who it is… that was in the room. At the end of the session I ask if there’s anything else they would like to say. I get two responses… different voices, if you ask me… one that says ‘toothache”.. and a few seconds later is sounds like “would you think?”

The Haunted Barn
You can see many pictures of it on the pictures pages, and I will be adding many more. Some psychics claim some of the spirits here are Native American. We asked a special person to come out one night and assist us in taking EVP. This person was able to speak a few phrases in Potawatomi (Nishnabe’) and ask the spirits there some questions for us. This was our first attempt with some interesting results.
Opening Statements-I noticed here what sounds like the spirit saying the name of the person asking the questions and “… will you…”
Spirit Speaks Potawatomi-The woman asks “What brought you here?” in Potawatomi (Nishnabe’) and in English. The exact word replied is Sukmukwe’ (Mother Earth). It certainly proves the psychics were on target when they said there was a Native American presence here. This was our very first EVP that was in a non-English language.
Unknown- Not sure what the whispered word is.
Unknown- Notice towards the end of this recording when Luan comments “…Red Orb” The word just before she said “…red orb” is not her voice.

Fulton County Museum and James Polke House
These evps were captured at the Fulton Co. Museum and the James Polke house with IGT Kokomo.
The evp called “stay out” was captured when the museum was empty except for the digital recorder and a video camera. The sound did not show up on the video, even though they were within five feet of each other. Anyway, two people were just coming inside the museum door when this was captured.
The second one called “Dammit they left”, was captured when we were all leaving the museum and just after I said that I would come back in a few minutes to get the recorder. This has been questioned as to what it actually says, so far I have heard people say they hear; “Dammit they left”, Timothy Clout”, and “Beyond the closet”. I am not sure so let me know what you think.
The third one called “house whisper”, was captured inside the Polke house. We were upstairs in the little bedroom with the crib. Myself and Joel were setting up video recorders and I had already started the digital recorder. You will hear a whisper, which I can’t understand other than the end says “in here”, then someone Joel and I start to talk to each other.

Caroline: “Anything else to say to us?” Spirit Voice: ” NO”
Member Caroline asks questions while recording. Just as she is getting ready to close she asks if the spirit has anything else to say to us. The Answer seems to be NO. You can hear my voice on the tape say flash twice. I was the only one to talk but all I said was “Flash.”
Murray House Porter County
“Welcome to my house, come into my garden.”
The Murray house is an OLD private residence. It was once a grand mansion of its day, owned by a Mr. Murray. He had 2 wives during his lifetime at the home. One died at a young age. They were all buried on the property. The house has since fallen into bad disrepair. It was assumed the Murray’s wouldn’t be happy about this since they loved the house. The Murray’s owned a large dairy farm which, back in the 20’s and 30’s, supplied much of the local area with its milk. They used to host many parties at their home welcoming esteemed local guests and visitors. The 2nd Mrs. Murray had a HUGE rose garden, and she was extremely proud of it. She would often welcome the guests to the home and ask them to come see her garden! When we first captured this recording we didn’t know that. When I got it I questioned the caretaker of the property and gave him a copy of the tape. He later got back to me after checking with his sources and told us about the 2nd Mrs. Murray and the Garden.

Kouts Cemeteries
At one of the Kouts Cemeteries we decided to try EVP for a few minutes. Chris Fierek and I stopped away from the group under a huge pine tree and pulled out the recorder. Just as I pushed the start button a neighbors dog started barking. Now we had been in the cemetery for maybe 20 minutes before this took place. So as I began the recording I opened with a joke ” Is there anyone here … besides the dog…” Chris and I both laughed and I explained ” Sometimes a humorous comment will trigger a response.” I continued by asked a few normal questions while Chris stood by and watched. What you hear is only moments after I made my joke. This voice is what I believe to be a ghost making his own joke….

Valparaiso Museum/Old Jail

Spirit: ” Everett Daniels, USA Army”
This EVP was taken upstairs outside the old Solitary Confinement Cells. I was next to some old army uniforms and other military artifacts. The voice answers” Everett Daniels, USA Army”. A search revealed there was an Everett Daniels who lived in Porter County and died a number of years ago. He would have been the right age for WWI. Some of his things were donated to the museum….

Make Gone
Ghost Voice: ” Make gone!” Ginger Rakestraw says: “I’m outta here !”
This EVP was taken at an abandoned old farm house in the Evansville area. It’s a well known haunted spot to the locals. Ginger Walks through the property with the other IGT members on investigation. She feels something, not very friendly, approaching from behind her. Next she is slapped on the back of the neck! This seems to have happened the same time as the recording “Make Gone!” and her reply “I’m outta here!”
Valparaiso Museum/Old Jail Investigation Dec 7th, 2002
These EVP was taken upstairs in a solitary confinement cell. Leading up to it we got a reading on the EMF meter, spiking and indicating an increase in the EM fields first, a negative presence was felt here, mostly sadness. While reviewing the tape, we sat in the very Dark cold room and recorded our notes for the investigation, writing down anything we found on the tape as well. As we listened intently, as we usually hear them as faint whispers, we were all shocked as this LOUD voice came across. Just as we imagined the recording was over we heard the growling voice, a couple of the ladies (Lisa and Val) screamed as I tossed the recorder on the nearby table.
ME: Why are you in here? Spirit Voice 1: My life’s ended

ME: “We want to wish you a Merry Christmas and hope you’ll wish us one too. Thank-you” Spirit 1: ” Thank You” Spirit 2: “SHUT THE HELL UP!
This series is taken at the entrance to the catacombs, a section of the Old jail that is now half filled in by Debris but once was a main part of the jail and the drunk tank. Before the voice is heard we got a reading on the EMF meter, spiking and indicating a Shift in the EM fields. Note this was all after Eric and Chris were hear first stirring up the spirits.
